Be HEALTHY
While your mind is focused on new challenges, you’ll forget that you’re getting an aerobic and anaerobic workout and blasting calories away. But you’ll know you’re an athlete when you feel healthier and more fit than ever before.
Be Capable
Don’t just hope that your skills will work if you ever need them. Experience the effectiveness of your skills every time you train with people of all sizes and strengths.
Be Confident
There’s a reason that Brazilian Jiu jitsu is considered the single most practical and effective martial art for physical conflict and self defense. Combine with the weapons and tactical offense training from the Filipino Martal Arts for confidence in any setting.
Be in Good Company
There’s just something that happens when you train with others – a fundamental element of learning jiu jitsu or escrima. Training partners become friends, and friends become family.
Getting Started is as Easy as 1-2-3

Testimonials
I have been teaching and training with Brian for many years and I can tell you how passionate he is about Jiu-Jitsu. He has a lot of knowledge and he is also a great instructor. He is the type of guy that goes out of his way to help others and I am honored to call him a friend.
Professor Brian is a mentor, both on and off the mat. It’s obvious his heart is to share knowledge and love of martial arts, not just to sell it. I’ve been a part of the AMAC community since March 2018 and am absolutely grateful for both the comfortable, family-like atmosphere and Professor Brian’s personable engagement.
Brian, or should I say Professor Brown, has been training with me for over 15 years. His constant and unwavering dedication to the lifestyle of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu has led him to the rank of Black Belt, and Professor.
I have been training bjj with Professor Brian for over 8 years now. He has learned from some of the best instructors around and it shows. He has a knack for breaking down the techniques into easy to understand pieces for all skill levels. He will show you how, as well as why, which is one of the main reasons I love training with Brian.
Brian Brown began training in the Counterpoint Tactical System in 2005 and completed testing requirements for promotion to First Degree Black Belt at the Iron Mountain Instructors Camp in September of 2010. Brian is a first generation student and a Charter Member of Counterpoint Tactical International.
I’ve been training BJJ with Professor Brown for almost 8 year at AMAC. It’s been a great experience and I look forward to many more years.
The best way I can describe this gym and professor Brown is to ask you to think back to high school or college. Think of that teacher that not only loved the subject they were teaching but also inspiring their students and how much they cared to see their students grow. Now think of the difference that teacher was able to make on your life and others. That is the level dedication Professor Brian has to his craft, his school, and most importantly his students. I could not imagine getting a black belt any where else.
